MDT LSS-22 chassis

As soon as I sell my Boyds Tacticool / Pro Varmint stock on EE, I will be getting one. It's just hard to drop $400+ on a stock like this when I'm seeing other companies in the US making simular CNC stocks for a third the price.

LSS owners have coment forearm is too short to get a stable position on a bipod so the made the lss-xl and now EE is floded with LSS for sale.

it should soon happen with the LSS22 if the short stuff is what you are looking for

High quality and a very solid folder with no wiggle. Can be outfitted with the whole AR selection of grips and stocks etc. Very light for a chassis but watch how much extra you hang on it!

first off if i knew how to post pictures i would. i have the LSS22 on savage mkll. i added the hogue rubber grip- folding attachment- magpul ctr buttstock and harris 6"to9" bipod. i topped it with a bushnell elite 3200 5x15
power scope i had from a rifle i gave to my nephew. threw it on my bathroom scale and it weighs 10 1/2 pounds. sadly the stock arrived after i had shoulder surgery and will have to wait till spring to shoot it.
ps it's all in black. i also have the tr but i'm leaving that one alone.

Did you need a cheek riser to be able to get a good sight picture thru the scope? Apparently they designed it for use with iron sights

brybenn--can't use rifle yet my arm is in this huge sling. there is a foam pad that keeps it 4"from my chest. should be able to check mid january to february. also i am one of those people who have a short neck and probably will need one. it will be a snap on magpul for the ctr.

double checked mdt web sight and found that the receiver is cerakoted. how much extra would that cost. not only that if the stock wasn't that good or overpriced why would somebody like brownell's sell it.

Does it have a name?

I wondering same. Maybe he's referring to Midway Metals, another milled Savage stock:

Anyone rocking one of these yet? Any reviews? I'm thinking a Savage Mk II TR in one of these with some decent glass would be pretty kick @ss.

My 1712 has been in the LSS for a couple of weeks now. Stock is really well made and I really like how it looks. Another added benefit is now my rifle is shooting slightly tighter groups on average.
