MDT LSS-XL Pre-Order?

Woohoo! I really like the MDT LSS chassis, but I find it a little short for longer barreled rifles. The HS3 is nice, but I prefer the look of the LSS and I just don't need the extra mounting options the HS3 offers.

I assume you are still making this work with the bottom bolt release Savage 10 TR. Will there be a pre-order for these?

Will this still take the standard collapsible stock (MOE CTR)? I bought my magpul furniture in preparation for the LSS, but now seeing that an XL version coming out I would like to hold out for one!

Although this version is designed for fixed stocks, yes it will take collapsible as well!

Ugh, this is annoying.

Using our Skeleton Rifle Stock - We do not recommend using our Skeleton Rifle Stock on the LSS-XL. It will work on our LSS using the fixed stock adapter. But on the LSS-XL with a shorter Length of Pull the cheek riser will be in the way of the bolt. (it does work on some actions if the cheek riser is raised)

Why do you post pictures of the LSS-XL with the Skeleton stock if you recommend not using it? My intention was to do precisely that. So, which actions do accommodate it without it being a pain in the ass?

Why does the XL have a shorter lop? Why wouldn't they just take the design of the original lss and lengthen the forend, what point is there to altering the back of it?

I think because AFAIK, the original standard LSS was really not friendly to those who wanted fixed buttstocks. Mounting them was a problem, and required a special adapter. And it also extended the pull to longer than most wanted.

So it appears as if they decided to make it more like a standard AR/M4 stock mounting. Which won't change much for telestock guys, but will improve fixed stock
