So for the past few months I've been piecing together a Remington 700 budget build and researching which rail to get I came across MDT and their 50 Moa rail. I was wondering if anybody has any experience with the quality of MDT rails, as I'm highly interested in getting one with 50 Moa.

Would love to hear some advice and wisdom!

Why would a budget build need 50 MOA rail?
Why do you need a gun to be expensive? I know many people with budget guns that can out shoot someone's 15k rig. If you think sinking money into things is all that matters then you're doing it wrong.

I've no question my rifle will hit what I aim at. I appreciate your concern though.

Not all scopes for "a budget build" will even have vertical adjustment range to zero on a 50 moa rail. Just saying.

Anyway, MDT won't be a problem on itself

Not all budget builds are the same. :)

I had someone make fun of my budget Savage 6.5 Creedmoor build till I shot it next to his $6,000 rifle.
It is built on a $520 Savage 12FV.
Just because the rifle is a budget build doesn’t mean that the scope is too.

Arken II 6-24x50 34mm. I prefer arken products, and own 3 of them. I also prefer to hold low within 200y

Sure. 20 moa will get you out to 1000 with that scope. Get the 50 if you want but it's not necessary. You didn't say what caliber but I took my 223 to 1000 yards with a 30mm tube midas TAC on a 20 moa rail so I'm sure whatever you are shooting will get there

I’ve only have a Tikka MDT rail. It is excellent quality. You could pay as much as you want for a “better” one but I’d bet MDT is the best money can buy (among other brands)

Make sure you bed the rail properly. That will be the most important part. Lots of great YouTube videos for instructions.

You should be able to use a normal rail to get you out that far.

I think its only around 32 moa for my 223 and 260 for 1100yds

I'm shooting 260 handloads, I just want to have it close to dope zero as possible without adjusting it.

A 20 moa rail is plenty. That will more than get a .260 out to 1k yards. IIRC I can dial my .308 out to 1500ish yards with a 20 moa base. The 50 moa bases are for 700 pattern rimfires. MDT makes some real quality kit, I use their bases on all my 700s.
