Hi guys
Looking at putting my tikka t3 CTR in a MDT TAC21 Chassis system. I'll be using the setup for coyote hunting this year, maybe even for deer I get bored of the rem 700 (rarely happens). The hike out to the area where the coyotes are is a fair stroll so weight is something I'm concerned about.

My main question is do you think the MDT TAC21 is a system that you could take with you on long hikes?

its not a light package for sure! I wouldn't use it for mountain hunting, just too heavy.

In a coyote field, once setup, you will love it! nice and steady, and ergonomically well designed!
 
Consider the MDT LSS. I just got one for my Savage and it's my new favorite. Very light weight (unless you put a heavy butt stock on it).
