Anyone know this guy? Meadow Lk. Saskatchewan I'm told. He's even got a bragging scar.

His name Is Kaare Gunderson (sp?) and Meadow Lake is right. I think that is his 2nd or 3rd deer scoring over 200".
You can find him on the Realtree forums with the handle SaskMan. He has a thread in the deer hunting forum about the deer.

That is amazing he should score it with SCI I bet it would score huge and might even be a world Record as it looks like it was taken with a smoke pole

Meadow Lake Area of Sask. is known for large bucks, Sask. is the place to be for Hunters, if you can put up with the Commy Government.

...............not near enough crown land or variety of animals for me. I'll be leaving in the AM and a 45 minute drive from my doorstep will put me in prime moose, elk, whitetail, muley, wolf, cougar, black bear and the odd grizz to worry about kind of habitat. Sask doesn't offer that. Big bucks though without a doubt.

You have obviously not hunted much in Sask: . We've plenty record book moose, elk, mulies, black bear and whitetail.
There are lots of wolves and cougar up north and in certain valley systems, you may recall a wolf killing a man last year in northern Sask.
As for grizzlies we don't have them and frankly I coulnd'nt care, most places its next to impossible to hunt them anyhow.

As for the comment of a communist gov't...yep we do it sucks and is going to change.
