Meaford Long Range Steel Challenge (2-day PRS points race match)

The beavers are just for one stage. Yes, there is also a Moose. He will be 48" wide with an 8" vitals cutout that can be plugged. Haven't decided if we will use the cutout or the whole target yet.

In addition to circles, squares and IPSC pattern targets, we also have some more realistic to-scale head and torso targets.

Different targets add variety. They also help distinguish different stage's targets.

Nice.

For those (of us) who are knuckle dragging Tikka drivers- what will the max round count in a single stage be? Or if that cannot be answered specifically- will there be a stage where more than 20 rounds will be required?

Stages are all 6-12 rounds. 2 magazines will be required for a few stages. 3 are recommended.

I'm registered..just curious if there is a minimum number of participants that have to be registered before the event is a go?

We are beyond the minimums.

As Ryan said, I would not wait to register if you want to shoot the match. Access to the event will be tightly controlled. Even if the match is not full, we will have to send a competitor roster to the base and the final numbers for food, etc... at some point. So, there will be a cut off date for registration. We would like it to be open as long as possible, but don't have a cut-off date yet.

Also, if you purchase a slot, a confirmation e-mail will be sent that has a link to the registration page. Many are not reading the e-mail and are not following the link to complete the registration process. It is vitally important that people read, understand, and follow the instructions in all of the communications being sent to them. If you have a slot, please follow that link and register for the match. There is information that we need beyond name and e-mail address.

I would like to register, but I am still working on getting those days off from work. Is there a refund available if I can't make it? I just need a little more time to convince people to work for me the last long weekend of the year.

Refund can be had up to 30 days before the match.

There are 2 items in the webstore. One it the match slot, the other is the R&Q.

Also for those of us that don't want to stay in the shacks, can we buy meals like you normally can at the mess? Or will that be shut down for some reason?

I am one one of those ones that forgot to fill out the reply form. What if I am not sure which caliber I am going to shoot? I am working on having 2 rifles built a 223 and a 6.5x55. Not sure if the 6.5 will be done in time. Can I put down both? Does it really matter?

Thanks

I was under the impression that you needed a meal card like at Connaught. We are only doing packages.

Once you register, you will be send a link for squading and for updating the information if you need to.

Ok thanks. I'll contact the base. Most of the messes usually allow you to pay for meals with cash. I know that is usually an option in Meaford.
Are you offering a meal only plan?

For more info about the quickly growing sponsor list go to the Insite Arms forum page easily found in the dealer network drop down at the top of the page, under long range precision.
