Measuring "Scope-Height-Above-Bore"

Why not just use calipers and measure from the top of the bottom ring to the Center of the bolt.
Yup, not rocket science, not sure why some think it is!
Rings get halved , so it is pretty basic that the top of the bottom half of the ring would be the same as the centerline of the scope.
Some people can turn even even an uncomplicated task into an engineering nightmare!šŸ˜’

I measure centre of the bore to the centre of the scope. I try to be as accurate as possible without going crazy.

So far, so good.
