I bought the grinder that Canadian tire sells for 140.00 bucks.

It ground up deer meat and goose meat OK.

Don't know yet what happens when the blade hits steel shot though?:yingyang:

LEM 1 HP grinder completed 2 deer in about 10 minutes with my 5 yr old daughter running the stomper/stuffer and myself feeding the meat. slick tool with stainless steel machined parts. So far, I'm impressed, we'll see how long the motor lasts (I'll post again in 10 years ;) )

I have a 3/4 from Cabela's and I would say if I had to do it over I would buy the 1 hp model. The 3/4 grinds like a dream but just a bit slower than I'd like. I use the sausage stuffing attachment all the time and it makes sausage well. Plus you can get attachments like mixer for the 1 hp but not for the 3/4. You'll never be sorry you bought it.
