Did anyone try watching "The Hunt". I stuck it out for 5 minutes before turning it off.

Same, if that. Typical product pushing, private land "hunting" show.

Meateater on the other hand, amazing. I've got seasons 1-4 and watch 5-6 on Netflix, like some others said, only hunting show the gf enjoys. Steve is a very likable guy and puts emphasis on the whole hunting experience, way beyond the kill portion which is 0.1% of the hunt.

Meat Eater is about real hunting stories. Sometimes he misses, shoots something small or trophies. There's episodes where you barely see any game. It's just the way it really is, lots of life/hunting lessons. I see myself in most of those epidsodes, from the hunt, to the kill, to butchering and then eating.

I agree, just watched the mountain memories, Montana bears, man what a great episode, really struck a chord. When it was over it hit me, he didn't even shoot anything and yetvwas one of the better hunting shows I've seen yet.
