So I got a new reloader and the easy tray is not working. First the spring, I have no idea how it goes on and if it's broken, it does not seem long enough to take the feed arm to the hole and bring it back up to collect a primer. No clue how it comes in tho.

Secondly the lid from the tray hits the loader. How the heck am I gonna flip a tray of primers in it? And help is welcome. Looked at diagrams from Mec website no help. Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure on where the spring goes, but the shot and powder bottles will swing/pivot towards back of the press and out of the way.

That makes sense. Can't believe I didn't think of that. Thanks. Now just for the spring and I'm off to the Races. Thanks

Try and cycle it without The spring. In any of the videos I looked at I never saw the spring.

Failing that call them up and they will let you know.

As far as I can tell, The flat spring is upside down. It should attach to and hold the primer arm in the down position until the press handle is lowered and then the spring/chain attachment under the primer try pulls the primer arm up to collect the next primer. Or something like that. My son and I bought a used grabber at a gun show and it required installation also. I think we got it right as it does the job now. It took a little adjustment with the chain length. The primer arm drops the primer in the tube and then the spring with chain pulls it up to catch the next primer
Check the Mec website for a parts diagram and see how your model goes together.

Ok the spring goes into the notch on the collector arm and it does not attach to the lid retaining arm.
(Oposite of how you have it now) it just pushes up against the inside of the priming tray off the arm.
If you are trying to make it work you need a full shell in the last station. It won't drop a primer until the final crimp is aplied.
BTW
A replacement can be made from an old chainsaw recoil spring.

I can't post pics from the mobile site.

Its like DFarmer and I have said. The spring attaches to the arm not the tray.
Half way down the top edge of the arm is a little notch. The spring is suposed to clip on at that point. You may have bent the spring by the looks of it.
