Mec Gar .40 Magazines in CZ 75/Shadow/Shadow 2

Sorry if this has been talked about before but couldn't find it while searching.

I've recently read that the Mec Gar magazines in .40 work for 9mm 75/Shadows/Shadow 2s without modifications.

Has anyone tried this? How many 9mm can it hold?

I've got two. Both work in a NP40, 9 or .40, better than the original ones. One is a tight fit in a Pre-B Transitional CZ-85 (9mm), but very useable. The other is "tighter" and needs mechanical persuasion to come out. The fat one got compliance punched too high and takes one less round, just in case that happened to you.

The Mec Gar 40's work fine in my Shadow 2. 13 fit comfortably.
