How does a large plastic floor plate on 9mm double stacks stand up to being dropped? Any issues with them braking? specifically Beretta mags.

I had Beretta Mec-Gear mags for my Storm. The bases held up OK. They would probably not fare as well on concrete (indoor ranges)

It was the tubes I didn't like. Thinner than OEM...and the feed lips were hard to keep tuned.

I had some for my Taurus PT-99 that I used in IPSC, on concrete floors. They were great, no issues what so ever. The Taurus on the other hand,....:runaway:

I purchased 2 Mec-Gar mags for my Beretta 92 for IPSC. First course of fire on my Black Badge course (for which I purchased the mags , i.e first time they were used) I dropped the mags and broke the plastic base off of one. I have glued back together twice. This was on our indoor range. I am now looking for OEM mags.
