Hello out there. I have been looking for info or product reports on the colt or glock ccu's, but seems to be none around. Is there a reason for this?

I'm pretty happy with mine in 9mm, once you get used to the funny sound from the spring. It's worst then the old Sterling SMG...

I'd be curious to see the bullet velocity you could get out of it in 38 super. Should be interesting... Too bad we can't really hunt with it.

There are 3 things I did not like about mine
- Lenght of pull... 2" longer then any other gun I owned (easily fix with a grinder welder)
- The Optional sight/accessory rail could have been a bit higher to use the rear peep-sight. On the other hand, it's perfect for a scope/red dot. (Currently using one of the Aimpoint knockoff)
- The fake flash hider is joke... But I guess they need it in the US so that it's not considered as a SBR.

If you already own a Glock/1911 with a bunch of magazines, it make sense...

I really like mine for accuracy and function. Mine is in 45ACP and 200gr cast loads go about 1100fps (900ish fps in my 1911). Zippo for leading. Will drive them into one big hole at 35yds and I have shot shotgun shells at 44yds.

The buttstock is not the most comfy in the world but can easily be modified if you can weld. It has the AR sproing when you shoot.

I use both a scope with very high rings or a dot or reflex sight. With a scope, 200yds is no big deal to hit 2L pop bottles.

This has 'replaced' my SKS as a short range semi plinker. Because I cast my own bullets, even cheaper then 7.62Russian ball to shoot and more accurate at short range.

I have mine on my Norinco 1911 frame. Surprisingly heavy for just a top end. I expect this to last my lifetime of shooting.

Thats good to hear, I was wondering if an ambi. safety is a problem on the unit. Two thumbs up is all I need to order one. Ten mags should be good for plinkin.

Ambi Safeties won't work without some modifications to the safety and the mech.
