Mecanical scale options

Simple question :

There are several brand of MECANICAL scale available on the market, i'm thinking about RCBS M500 for their well known quality/durability.

Does it worth the price or should look for cheaper one?.....or a more expensive?...

Other than Lee, I think most of the major reloading companies have their scales made by Ohaus. I have a Dillon mechanical scale that has Ohaus printed on the label right under the Dillon logo.

They are out of production, but if you could find a good used one, they are superb.
Ohaus 304 [Also RCBS 304] I have one, and believe it is about as good as mechanical
scales get. Dave.

I use a RCBS 505... Can find them used here all the time...

Any beam scale and some inginuity makes the an excellent tool.
