Med or High Scope rings for 93R17 FVSS ??

I searched all over the net....can't find what i need

Will be mounting a Bushnell 3-9x40 Trophy XLT Scope (silver) Non-Adjustable objective
on a Savage 93R17 FVSS (heavy barrel).

So I know I need 1" rings for the Weaver base.

My question is:

Do I need the high rings? or will medium be enough?
Obviously I want it as low as possible without it hitting the barrel : )

I was thinking of using Weaver Top Detachable Aluminum Rings - Stainless
Article # 32137 from Cabelas, as they'll match the scope in color....any experience with them? Any other good options?

As I'm over seas at work right now, I need to order this all online so it's there when I get home. It's a gift for my Dad's birthday. So I can't walk into a store and check or ask anybody.

Medium is what you need. I have high rings and theres ALOT of space between teh objective end and the barrel which is not desirable. Im going to buy medium and swap mine out.
