From day 1 since I purchased my tumbler, I have noticed that my media gets black awful fast compared to other reloaders I know. I use the Lyman green stuff, my brass is kept out of the drit etc... My primers are CCI400 and my powder is Varget. Even after 1 cleaning, my media starts to turn black.
Am I doing something wrong? I runit in my unheated garage. Drop the brass into the media and let it go for a few hours. Without fail it comes out black as sh1t and the inside of my tumbler is stained black also.
I go over to abuddies and he's got this nice green media floatin around some shiney brass. WTF gives?
