Medicine Hat Annual "Summer Sizzle" Match 16 Sept 2012

Nick you should have been given a MASSIVE Stage penalty as you were supposed to carry that shotgun down range with you and shoot pistol one handed. In your score, if your bragging about it don't forget to include a 10 sec proceedural for putting down the shotgun and 1x 10 sec proceedural for every round you fired out of the pistol two handed(local rules). Now I know how you guys in Lethbridge always come out with low timings. While everyone else follows the match copy, you guys just do what ever you want.

Since we determined at the match that Shawn is illiterate when it comes to reading the match copy, you tube has also proven Kevins illiteracy also. Obviously we should assign a proper baby sitter to you Lethbridge people for the next match.

By the way, at lunch today I drew up the rough draft for the next pistol match in April, and have included the Bianchi Plates in the 3rd stage again..................

Uh Lawrence, just to clarify, Scott is the R.O. that ran us cheatin bastard Lethbridge guys through. Scott told us to lay our shotgun on the ground when we finished that portion of the stage. We thought it weird that there wasn't a table or somewhere other than the ground to place your shotgun but then we were just following the R.O's instructions.
Thanks for putting on such a fun match - I always enjoy blasting rounds downrange at your matches even though I didn't shoot well. It's a major stress reliever for me.
Take care - Jamey

First off.

That match was awesome. I had a lot of fun and I want to thank all those who set it up and ran it including our wonderful RO Scott. It is much appreciated.

As Jamey said, we thought it was weird, but that's what we were told to do with the shotgun on our walkthrough, so that's what we did. We didn't intentionally break the rules. What's the fun in that? If you recall Lawrence I had asked you about a reshoot because of a timer malfunction. I'm uploading the 1st video to Youtube now so you can see Scott running me through the stage and allowing me to drop the shotgun as well. It wasn't Kevin bending the rules it was a simple miscommunication.

Also Shawn asked me to ask you if you could post the times? I'd be interested to see how close his and my times were.

Also to prove I am capable of shooting single handed here is stage 1 that you gave our squad the walkthrough on.

The other video is still uploading, but it gave me this link. Hopefully the video will show up in about 20 minutes when it's done uploading.

Nice shooting on stage1 NDB86.

And to clarify I only wanted to tell Lawrence there was a video up. Not what was in it.

No worries.

Here are my other videos. Sadly I forget to get my stage 3 recorded, so it's missing.

My apologies to all, I was under the complete impression that the stage direction was crystal clear. I was the one who is obviously in error on this one. And yes a timer malfunction is an immediate reshoot at any match that I've ever shot.

Timing as promised have been sent to the MHRRC webmaster for uploading on our site.

Thanks again! I hope you don't mind, I stole the stats off your site.
