Medicine Hat Rifle and Revolver Club Summer 3 Gun Match, Sunday 14 June 2015.
Registration 8 AM to 9 AM. Registration ends at 9 AM, late entires will not be accommodated. Safety briefing and squading a 9 AM with rounds down range by 9:30.
Match Fee $30.00
5 Stages. Targets range from 8m to 200m (rimfire rifle will shoot at reduced ranges).
Round Count - Total 152. (Pistol 53, Rifle 46, Shotgun 42 Shot and 4 Rifled Slugs, Mystery Gun 7). Round count is the minimum number of rounds required to successfully engage all targets. Bring extra ammunition. No steel core rifle ammunition and shotgun ammunition is limited to lead shot No. 4 or smaller.
This is a speed shoot (IPSC style); score is based on time. Holsters are required by all shooters. Shoulder holsters and cross draw holsters are not permitted. All competitors are requested to assist with resetting targets, patching targets, picking up brass, etc.
All competitors, range staff, and spectators are required to wear hearing protection and eye protection.
MHRRC is a "Cold Range". Firearms may only be handled in the SAFE AREA or under the direction of a Range Officer. Handguns are to be carried unloaded and holstered. Rifles and shotguns are to be carried cased or uncased and shall be unloaded with the action open and muzzles orientated in a safe direction.
MATCH DIVISION
OPEN - one or more firearms fall under Open Class.
STOCK OPTICS - all firearms fall under Stock Class and the rifle is fitted with one optical or electronic sight.
STOCK IRONS - all firearms fall under Stock Class and the rifle is fitted with iron sights only.
REVOLVER
RIMFIRE - the rifle and pistol must be rimfire.
WOMANS
JUNIOR - competitor is under 18 years of age.
NOVICE - competitors competing for the first time at MHRRC.
Competition is open to all shooters of all ages, skills and abilities. Range Safety is the highest priority and unsafe firearms handling will not be tolerated. Competitors under 18 years of age must be supervised by an adult guardian. Competitors are responsible to read and understand the match rules prior to the competition.
Canteen facilities are not available, bring snacks, suntan lotion, and bug spray. Water will be available.
This is a "NO ALIBI" match and will be held regardless of the weather. The range will be closed at 5 PM Saturday 13 Jun 2015 for set up.
