Medicine Hat Rifle & Revolver Club Annual " Top Gun " Match

Reminds me of Hellboy's gun The Good Samaritan:

In a sport where women and men are scored equally I don't understand the need to separate women unless it is to protect the egos of us men. Just last weekend we had our asses handed to us by a pair of 12-14 year old female shooters in a 3GN regional.

Traditionally, throughout the last 20+ years in Medicine Hat, there has always been a "Ladies" category to bring newer, less experienced shooters into the game. Inexperienced female shooters that are forced into competing with "speed demons", generally don't come back. Since our club is NOT affiliated with any specific shooting discipline, their is no reason NOT to have a separate category for them.

Last weekend you were shooting a sanctioned match, nothing in Medicine Hat is sanctioned by any shooting discipline, so it is at the match directors discretion. Do you want to attract new shooters, or do you not?

Well now that you are all shooting revolver I'm shooting rimfire!

New holster arrived today. Haven't actually tried it yet, but it looks way slicker than my old one. Probably wouldn't be fair if I shot revolver now, this holster is so high speed and I don't want to listen to you guys whine!

Just registered on PractiScore. Guess it's official, I'm in revolver. Sure hope that new holster works. Now to sit here and wait to be approved, I hate waiting and what if I'm rejected.

Hey match director, if we can fit more than one gun n are belt can we use multiple revolvers? You skinny guys might be in trouble I could probably wear about six holsters and still not be using a crossdraw holster.

Craig0ry, I'll try to remember to bring the 950B down. I actually have a smaller pistol now but haven't fired it yet.

Sounds good, I still have most of a box of ammo.

I should be registered in revolver, I did it about 5 days ago, I'll have to double check

I might not be able to make it, unfortunately, as I am having some complications with a new medication prescribed for me this week. Besides I don't know what I want to compete with Stock Class? Revolver class? Rim Fire ?
