I just received the Centurion Arms HK416 style BUIS and attached same - just gotta sight it in now (from the last photo it looks like I missed a few spots of packing grease). It replaces a Larue BUIS with XS Sights same plane aperture. We'll have to see which one I like better :D

I see you took the economical route with all those second rate, cheap accessories ;) . Very nice setup man, must have cost a pretty penny. Mine should be done before the end of this weekend, maybe I'll post some pics of it if I get it done on time.
 
The only other changes I'm contemplating are changing back to the factory flash eliminator, and trying out a Blue Force Gear Vicker's sling.

.... and maybe one of Noveske's new chrome lined and park'd CM barrels :)

Jaycee I am not an AR expert. Is that a mag pouch in the gun case? And what is that circular thing under the flashlight?

Can you post a range report with some target pics?
 
NIce, I just ordered a complete armalite and building it to my requirements over the winter.

Yes, it's what is commonly referred to as a 'sub-load' - a pouch that is suspended from your belt and in turn is strapped to your thigh.

The "circular thing under the flashlight" is the throw lever of the Larue mount attached to the Surefire.

I don't have any photo's of targets, but it consistantly puts 5 rounds into .75 to 1.25 inches at 50m.

As far as reliability goes, it has approx. 7500 rounds through it to date. During a 4000 rds through it in 4 days last May at Tactical Response's Fighting Rifle and Advanced Fighting Rifle courses, we had a total of two stoppages, caused by a feed lip shearing off of two sucessive Thermold magazines.

She rocks!!!

I am thinking of the Pelican verion of your case.

How did you get the foam custom fit like that? Looks like the edges are nicely rounded etc.
