I pick up a very nice minty Ruger 44 mag made in 1981 in early December. Then just after Xmas I bought 2 new style Ruger 44 mags. The new style lever and semi have the mag which is nice for where we hunt. Both are nib unfired, all the goodies that came with these new like scope rings,Ruger cable lock, all the paperwork, hang tags and the semi has a scope guard and factory peep site installed. Both have the same serial numbers and are 2 diget numbers to boot !!. I would think they were ordered that way or the person that originaly bought them worked for Ruger ?.I bought them in the USA and had Jason at IRG bring them over for me.I was very happy with his service and have no probs recomending him to anyone !
I can't wait till I get em out !!!.
I'm sure theres going to be some drooling going on here !
The deer won't be safe this fall for sure :p
Hope you enjoy the pic ;)

When did Ruger stop production of those guns?

Ruger stopped making the old style tube mag rifles in 1985.The new style semi with mag ran from 2000-2006 and the lever ran from 1996-2007.Ruger doesn't have any plans to make another run of these rifles so the price can only go up for them imo.

I've had a few guys ask about the serial #'s so I'm going to say they are under 50.I realy think these should be with a ruger collector and not get shot.I'm having 2nd thoughts shooting them myself !
