Meet the new Heckler & Koch G38 German rifle ...

So much Jealousy.... HK makes great guns, I love my USP and P30. I wish I could own an MP5 or find an MP7, I would even love an SL8 eventually.

I agree that HK has not been the best about civilian sales, But they do make amazing firearms.
 
Never cared for H&K.

They went from making cheap stamped sheet metal guns to plastic guns to AR clones and Glock knock-offs.
 
i am actually saving for an mr223 or a kac lpr, but have to upgrade the wife's ring first. so wont be looking at seriously buying either until march next year.

I see it the other way around. They have gone from making superb roller-locked all steel firearms to little aluminum rifles with tiny little bolt lugs.

Nothing "cheap" about stamped steel welded construction, you could beat a horse to death with the old G3.

Either of the too are awesome rifles, you won't be disappointed with what ever one you settle on.

Key Mod is much lighter -- cools better.

You can direct mount KM accessories.

You will not see it on your GP Soldiers anytime soon, but for folks who need minimal weight (thus probably dumped their Hk416 already ;) ) it's making inroads.
 
I can't wait, 50 years from now when HK is selling their version of the FN Scar or Tavor with ugly furniture like its cutting edge technology and some guy in the states starts making new delayed blow back rifles in his garage with lightweight materials and a bolt hold open that is twice as accurate and twice as reliable.

The gun was completely reengineered to fit in a M4 style body and look and behave like the original, not sure what you are complaining about.
 
HK builds very good guns - if you ever go into harms way with an HK you will be glad they do

When you do nothing more than shoot paper, play video games and share your uninformed opinion on the internet then I guess it really doesn't matter what carbine you use - does it ?

Germany is intending to send thousands of them (8,000 in fact) to the Kurdish Peshmerga.
 
Wow, an Ar-15, only for a lot more money! It's like Kraft dinner, only at a steak and lobster price, because it was made by a master chef. Still Kraft dinner. I kinda like Kraft dinner every now and then though, I may be crazy...

They you mean with polymer receiver? Like the G36? If a contractor demands bullpup rifle they will design a bullpup rifle. Oh wait they did with that rubbish thing that the british military runs. You need to get with the times young lady. Twice as accurate and reliable huh? Want to substantiate your claims on that with some evidence? Or are you that elusive navy seal team alpha beta sas untouchable?
