Hello all!

I'm from NL, i hope i'm in the right forum to ask these questions.

I plan to move to a new house new address (same town though). How do i have my home address changed on my PAL/rPAL?
And do i have it changed before or after i move to my new house?
How much would the fees be for the change of address?
And can i still use my firearms hunting (small game season's almost over though) while i'm in transition of my home addresses?

Update your address​

Help the Canadian Firearms Program get your renewal and other notices to you on time.

The Firearms Act gives you 30 days to notify the Canadian Firearms Program of a change of address. You can update your address in one of three ways:

Online
Update your information by accessing Individual Web Service

https://rcmp.ca/en/firearms/individual-web-services

You will need your firearms licence number and other personal information to confirm your identity.

1-800-731-4000 (within Canada and the United States) and at 1-506-624-6626 (outside of Canada and the United States)

Please provide:

• your full name
• your firearms licence number
• your date of birth
• your old address
• your new address (the mailing address and physical location if different)
• your new phone number
• the date of the move

If you own a restricted or prohibited firearm and are moving to a new address, you must obtain an authorization to transport prior to moving.
