I've noticed that many of the new hunters/shooters are using this platform to find help in getting started with their new sport. (I know, I needed all the help I could find when I was a beginner.)
I'm sure that many of the experienced hunters/shooters will find a little extra time to focus on the new generation and to pass on their knowledge.
I hope this thread will open up new opportunities for expanding the popularity of our sport and hopefully will create new friendships. Maybe, it will even make it a sticky thread...
I have over 25 years hunting experience and have been involved in shooting sports for over 40 years. I am offering my help to new hunters/shooters who live in the Greater Toronto Area.

Good on ya rusty! From the new hunters perspective, it's not that we won't go out on our own, it's that we don't know what to do. It's the kind of thing that someone can tell you (like look for the eye of a rabbit, or that a snowshoe hares tracks actually look backwards) or you can spend days or months getting wrong and frustrated before you figure it out.

I personally have just spent 3 solid days of at least 4 hours a day trying to sort out crown land, access, cars, transport, liscences, and even just the regulations. Without someone who knows, a single problem can put you on hold for weeks.

So in short, if you're out there and wouldn't mind someone tagging along, let people know, because without you guys, we don't have anyone else!

I live in the Brantford area of Ontario and do some crossbow hunting for deer, some shotgun small game hunting, rabbits, grouse, waterfowl, I also just got myself into coyote hunting, if someone is interested in getting together for a coyote hunt or something we can give it a try and see how it goes.... I have about 20 years hunting experiece.... just moved from Toronto to Brantford a few years agos so I have only access to a few locations....
