MEOPTA Scopes

Anyone have any comments on Meopta riflescopes? I was looking at getting a Leopold for my daughter's Rem. 7mm hunting rifle when I ran across a few Meopta scopes. Never saw them before and I got curious. And the price is right.

My buddy has a couple of Meostars, very clear, good in low light conditions, seem to be of high quality.

I've looked them up on the website, and looked them over in the store.Seemed very clear with minimal distortion or rainbow colors around the edge at high power, but I don't know anyone who has actually had one.
I think I'll get one and try it out.

I own a meopta optic. It's quite nice. I had it mounted on my sako finnlight 7mm-08 and recently took it off there and mounted it on my remington 700 LTR 308. The scope is very clear and offers decent light transmission in low light. My particular optic is a FFP with a standard duplex. Hope this helps and if you'd like more info please pm..

meopta is a czech Manufacturer. Sometimes they do some work for Zeiss in Jena.
I `ve got some Zeiss, Swarovski and one Meopta scopes. I would consider Meopta as a high end Scope. Zeiss and Swarovski are better but more expensive.
If the Price is right go for it.

I have the Meopta Atimus 2000 in 6x. Excellent scope. Tracking the box works great. The scope is very good in low light and is as good optically as the higher end scopes for less money.

Meostars are great scopes. Better I think than the Conquest, and that's saying something. Great light transmission, very well built. Should be good for life.

I have a Artemis 4X16X50 tactical that is pretty sweet. Made 400 plus yard shots pretty easy with a good rest. I have taken it off the rifle (rifle centimental value) if you are interested ?
