Mepro 21

Had one...sold it.

It worked fine but I found that the Tritium dot was not that easy to see in daylight. The amber dot was lost in any kind of light coloured backdrop.

I ended up going with the Aimpoint T1 and Comp series for my CQB sight. With the new circuitry battery life was not really an issue.

For battery free and further distances I also went with an 4x ACOG with red chevron.

Just my opinion...

Gonna bump my own thread...

Anyone else with a tavor have some exprerience with these? What are your thoughts? Good? or are there better optics?

Thanks

My friend has one.

Its pretty dull in daytime indoors, and unless you're in bright sunlight outside its pretty dull. If you're under a roof at a shooting range, its VERY VERY dull (he doesn't use it on any of his rifles).

I have HEARD that Trijicons are quite a bit brighter, but for the cost you're already spending, something like an Aimpoint ML2 or ML3 may be quite a bit more practical. :D

Used one on training once and yeah it sucked big time! The view is crap, the reticle is to dim and at night it was useless. Another problem is if your in a dark room shoot out into the light, you can not see the retical at all :( I would take iron sights over that thing lol

I had one on my tavor. I didn't mind it when shooting on a sunny day with snow on on the ground. The reticle brightness was fine for me, and the tint actually took the glare off the snow.

In that situation it was way better than my eotech. On full brightness, I couldn't see #### with the eotech.

I have one of the bulls eye reticle M21,works great.......i like it just as much as the Eotech i have.
