Meprolight, Any Advice?

I was looking at buying Meprolight green dot iron sights for my S&W MP .40 and was wondering if anybody has used this brand. Are they worth the money and are they a good quality product, easy to use in low light conditions?. Is there a better night site available for the MP.40?. Thanks for any input.
