Which way should I go. I t will be going on a Tavor

I like the Eotec's but I like the advantages of the Mepro m21 for the no battery needed.

What are your thoughts and experiences with either sight.

Tahnks

I am leaning to the eotec exps2-2. I had an eotec before and liked it. But stupid me I sold and now regret it. But I have seen the mepro's and they interested me

Didn't the early Tavor's come with m21? Whatever they had seemed like everyone wanted to get rid of them.

Yup and that's what made them so good. You could pick one up cheap.

I prefer the Eotech. But the M21 is pretty good too. You get the wash out, which there is a solution to now. Also quick release and no batteries required for the regular operation including at night. It works well. It's also good for firearms with a side charging handle up close to the receiver as it doesn't interfere as much as an Eotech does.

I use both. Eotech is preferred overall for most firearms but not all. If you go for the M21 get the quick release and bullseye reticle.

I have both too. I like them both for different reasons. Top of my M21 pros: No electronics whatsoever. None. EMP proof, ten years after the last battery, solid steel zombie whacking goodness. They should put that on the box.

I like the open X reticle I find you can use the ends of the lines on the inside and outside of the X to help with holdover if needed. And it looks like it wouldn't cover your target completely at longer distances

Hehhe. Good advertising!! Also they are good for people who are into home defence setups. No batteries or anything to turn off/fail. Just load and ready to go.

I got the W.O.R. kit (wash-out remover) too. Neat. The led is a bluish hue, (less visible from the front I suppose) take seconds to install, and works great if you are hiding in a dark corner, shooting into a very bright area. Thumbs up!

Glad to hear. Looks like I'll be ordering a couple then. I was hesitant to get one until hearing if they worked well.

Well I went with the Mepro 21 with the open X reticle. Got it from wolverine. I will have it out to the range next Tuesday. But looking it over and running some practice drills at home. It seems to work great. Great field of view, pick up the reticle on target very quick and it's easy to see. And the reticle is a lot more clear and sharp then any of the Eotec's I have had before
