merkel advice please

Ok -- I've been offered a merkel KR1 from an estate . the rifle is about1 year old unfired in 7mm rem mag as new. It comes with two bolts which allows interchanges from right/left hand. Has a high end Swarovski scope. Now , I have no idea of the value and really want to pay the widow what it's worth -- What is a fair price? please help.

Without knowing the exact models i think 3grand is fair for both parties. More than shed get taking it to a shop and likely less than what it would cost to buy new outright

They came in several grades. Swarovski scopes also vary in price from $800 to $4000 so you need more details before coming to a fair price.
