We bought a few of these at SHOT this year. Nice looking rifles.
6.5X55, 9.3X62, 243, 270 Win, 30/06, 300 Win, 7mm Rem mag. oth wood and synthetic. Should come in at a bit over 1k. Be here later in march.

They look like the haenel jaeger 10 rifles, merkel sells a better looking slb2000 called SR1, is it the same for these ? rebranded jaeger 10 rifle from suhl ?
 
I really like my Steyr and wished they made it in 7mm MAG as well, so this rifle caught my interest. However, this review has me waiting to see some more reviews from other buyers, first: ht tp://www.chuckhawks.com/merkel_MHR16_first.html
 
I had a Haenal Jaegar 10 in 270win. It was beautifully finished but I couldn't get it to make sub moa group. So I thought to use it as shorter range rifle with heavy bullets. But I felt it'd be better to have a stainless rifle so I switched to a cheaper savage stainless and sold the Haenel. Don't really miss it.
