Merry Christmas and S&J BIG CHANGES coming for 2019

well it is that time of year again.

we wish all of you good health and happy new year.

You will see some big changes from S&J Hardware In 2019.

2018 has been a very difficult year both for My health, business slow down, politics and a General shift in business.
We will be making some big changes early in 2019, dont worry you wont be seeing us selling NC star scopes and Chinese body armor.
But we will be focused on a few large projects that we have been trying to ramp up for the last few years.
As well as getting back to some of the founding thing that got us started, building custom guns and refinishing.
we will also be moving into a large location, working from a small shop and the machine shop is just not cutting it, for the retail side of things.
We now have a full time media person/ webguy as well as i have a full time assistant to help me with the day to day issue .
The manufacturing and R&D will stay the way it is, but there may be a big chance in what you see manufacture.
we will continue to make our world famous shotgun parts as we have big demand for these world wide, but in Canada dealers have not been reordering from us, in the last 12 months, so you will see a shift in how we have our dealer set out.

Our body armor like will continue to grow, both in the products we make in Canada, the OEM partnerships we have with companies in South Africa, Denmark, the US and the UK

Anyone that has known me on CGN, knows i have been here since before the start, back in the U.S. board days with Greentips, stombringer,Canuck223 and all those guys, who made what we have here today.
Its no secret that i have some major health issues, some people get it and some people don,t. It can be a real pain the ass for clients, not to get the service, response, or even product in a timely manner.
This we hope to fix in a big way in the 1st 1/4 of 2019 , with the move and the staffing, that are already starting to be implemented.
we look forward too your feed back, it helps us, but if you feel you need to voice your opinion, take a second and word it nicely.
If you are a ####, its not going to help you get you point across, we may be a business, but i,m just like all of you, if you are a #### , ill be a #### back.
If you have and issue, call us on it, i have no issue admitting when i screwed us, just send the details.! don,t just comment, yer he screwed up my order also... Then i find out is from something back in 2012.
If it is from 2012 we want to know, let us fix it, or at least make it up to you going forward.
Again thank you for the supports over the last 14yrs, and looking forward to some great times ahead

I remember you all the way back to day one, there were not too many of us on CGN in those days, we chatted amongst ourselves and waited for new people to join us, in between crashes and new platforms,.......... omg that's a long time ago

I think your company is going to do well. And I wish you the best of heath.

If I could offer any feedback in relation to your relationship with dealers, it’s a two parter...

1). I don’t know who your dealers are, but maybe they don’t move a lot of parts or sell a lot of the guns for which your parts are made. When Skinner sights struck a deal with Henry, their business took off. Maybe you can get some products into a factory gun.

2) Yours is a modest company that makes excellent products that should stand on their own. But you have modest packaging and no celebrity brand ambassadors. You haven’t even invented any weird ways of holding a firearm that have caught on. That’s the world you are competing in. You’ve got to toe the line of bleeding edge brand whoring. And I bet you like that idea less than I do but maybe think about it. Maybe sponsor a conpetitor or two who are actually pretty good and have a good YouTube following.
 
Merry Christmas! Thanks to Kratos pointing me in your direction I'm now getting a shotgun cerakote/parts and gear plus an entry into that excellent shotgun draw.
Sorry to hear about your health, hopefully your new direction will take some pressure off and 2019 is much improved.
I for one will be promoting your company as much as possible.
I wish I got into this game years ago lol
