Well, the last of my Christmas presents to me arrived today

Thanks to the EE, IRunGuns, Brownells and a friend south of the border who was willing to purchase an Alien Gear holster on my behalf and send it up. I think I'm set up pretty well now

Today as I fought the freezing temperatures at the range, I found another benefit of my Glock. The mags aren't nearly as cold to the touch as the metal ones are for the 1911.

because it's the Vickers Tactical model it comes with the upgraded (but not installed) Tangodown floorplates. Any reason I shouldn't change out the factory ones in favor of the upgraded? I prefer the upgraded ones but removing the OEM floorplates tends to nick them up a bit and if it's going to potentially destroy the value of the mags down the road I'd probably avoid it.
