We ate our Christmas meal tonight as our oldest girl is working tomorrow. She is a "combat nurse" in the local ER, thus the weird shift. As we sat for our meal, I said something that I usually say and that I wondered out loud "what the poor people are eating tonight". This is said at our table not as a put-down to the poor, but in reference to how very rich we are here in Canada compared to a lot of the rest of the world. We are blessed here in Canada.

Merry Christmas and may God's face shine upon us all over the holidays and into the New Year.

No firearms for me, but I did get a new coffee pot and grinder. I'm getting it set up right now!!
