The saddle ring carbine is probably the rarest
It’s 44/40 take down
The revolvers are either 44r or44m&h
And one 32 m&h
All prescribed antiques
Anyone else have some to show?

I'm only familiar with M&H from Forgotten Weapons. It never really occurred to me that someone would have a M&H collection, but those are super cool! Thanks for sharing.

I wish I had some to share. Always wanted an M&H Army model. Very cool revolvers. I've never seen one of those carbines before, though I have read of them. Nice. - dan

Great group of Merwin Hulberts.

I have only one and wish I had more. It is a 3rd Model Frontier Army Russian Model. It has the rare blue finish and is in .44 S&W Russian calibre.

I had a table at the 2014 Calgary gun show and there was an absolutely amazing display of Merwin Hulberts. I can't offhand remember the name of the gentleman who put on the display. This was the last Calgary show I attended. The Merwin Hulbert display might still be happening.

That carbine is very cool. It looks a lot like the Hopkins & Allen falling block shotgun which makes sense, H&A would have been a subsidiary of M&H at that time.
I wish I could contribute some pictures instead of a supportive comment and growing puddle of drool.

Anyone know the cost of an M&H ( in, say the 1880's ) compared to common period revolvers such as the SAA and S&W #3?

The movie ' Bone Tomahawk ' shows the M&H reloading procedure up close. I'm not aware of any other movie that's shows it.
' Bone Tomahawk ' is a cheesy but fun Western/Horror. Not everyone's cup of tea but worth a watch IMHO, even just for the gun p**n !

I was particularly impressed by the "speed drawer" ammo storage option of the eventual hero of the movie .
