Mesa shotshell carrier compatibility?

Can someone help me out here - I need to know if a Mesa 8 round shotshell carrier is compatible on a Remington 870 with a Surefire Forend.

I think this might have been covered already, but I can't find it... sorry if it has.

no will not work, i have tryed it and the forend is a little to long, had issues with shells not ejecting tube to the forend hitting the shellholder, just a little to long

If you want to, you can cut out a bit of the forend, not much just a small pice in the corner where it overlaps.

About that size more or less. It dosen't have to be a square piece, angel it or something so its not noticable.

^^Lol, I' wouldn't sacrifice 2 rounds for a little piece of plastic that takes 2 min to take off.

Does anyone have a photo of a surefire modified to function properly with the 8 round carrier?

I hate to cut up an expensive forend, but I bought it for this shotgun specifically and can't see myself trying to get rid of it any time soon - so its a hard choice.
