Metal mag lubing

What do you lube your metal mag with? The top edge of the mag is scratching my lapua cases big time. Would regular 3 in 1 oil do the trick?
 
No lube on mags. Just remove the burr on the metal.

If you transfer lubricant onto the cartridges you could risk a failure to extract situation or worst case an overpressure situation in the chamber.
 
In the Army we used to take spring out clean, oil then dry clean a thin layer of gun oil stays on the mag but not enough that it will transfer onto anything
