methods for dialing in an action?

Im interested to learn what methodseveyone out there uses to dial in there actions before they blue print? do you make a mandrel and turn between centers? do you ream the raceway and then use the reamer to dial indicate off? do you have a rod and bushings. tapered bushings like manson or straight bushings like PTG.

reason i ask is im going to do my first build soon and am looking at tooling.

Thanks Dr, but how do you dial in the action? I'm assuming you don't just drop her in there and snug the screws and call it good

I think most use straight (ptg style) bushings, and rod for single pointing. Although the piloted reamer and tap that ptg and manson are selling seem to becoming quite popular.
