Metric FAL mags.

I wasn't aware that any iteration of the .308 AR was compatible with FAL magazines....
You might want to confirm this before buying a bunch of mags that don't fit/work.

have a .308 AR inbound that needs some

Not meaning to Hijack, but does anyone know where Thermold Metric FAL mags are stocked?

I can't find them within Canada, however, you can order them through I Run Guns. I ordered 4 through them. Try and order before the 15th of the month and maybe you'll get it sometime next month. It usually takes about a month to get stuff in through them when purchased stateside. They are worth it though. Really like those mags. Didn't like the metal one because they scratch up all my brass... :)

Not a lot of demand for magazines for a prohibited rifle.
Rock River says their LAR 8 uses inch pattern mags.

metric pattern mags fit in inch pattern rifles. sadly not the other way around, though they can be modified to do so apparently. Which leads me to the question of why keltec didn't design the RFB for inch pattern. The reasoning for using FAL mags at all was supposedly so high and regular capacity mags for it would already be in great numbers in circulation if a ban were to come into play. If that were the case wouldn't it have been better to go with the type that would allow use of both?

Only if you have a bunch of inch pattern FAL mags!! Why would you have inch pattern FAL mags in the first place?

If you didn't have any FAL mags prior to getting the RFB, then it's an irrelevant question since you'd only be procuring the metric ones; and then those metric ones, as you said, could be used in any FAL compatible mag well.
