MFS .308 in an M14

Anyone have experience with that cheap MFS ammo in their M14s? Accuracy? Reliability? How does it compare to the Norinco non corrosive .308?

it went bang in my M14. ok Accuracy but stinky powder I only shot a dozen rounds so not enough really get to know it.

100 rds leaves quite a mess. Mainly with the red lacquer or whatever it is around the primers. It gets everywhere. I've been meaning to save the rest for the Zombie Apocalypse and move to something cleaner for range visits.

Put hundreds thru my 2009 Norc, best group was .760 5rnds @100M

Average is a honest 2.5" 100M 5rnd group.

It's dirty, it's non reloadable, it's not very consistent from box to box... But it's cheap and goes BANG very well in my rifle.

What they said, more or less. I shot 40 rounds at a 10" steel plate at 200 yards. The first 20 was with the original iron sights and a super-heavy trigger on the M-14...got about 12/20 hits. About a month later, with a unitized gas (thanks Doc!), National Match iron sights (crisper front blade, tighter and crisper rear apperture), and a very smooth light trigger...20/20 shots/hits.

Actual raw group sizes for 100 or 200, sorry I don't have that, money got tight after that, even for cheap MFS!
