MFS 7.62x39 qn

It isn't in white boxes, it is in commecial boxes with full commercial labelling etc. I'll check on Tuesday again but all the literature says made in Russia. I know MFS is Hungarian this batch says made in Russia.

If it's the same people Im thinking of, they are referring to the cartridge itself as "7.62x39 Russian", rather than Made In Russia.

The MFS is zinc coated steel case ammunition manufactured in Russia and sold exclusively throughout N. America by RUAG (RWS Germany).

That should clear it up abit :)

They are but it doesn't mean all of their product is made is Hungarian made. Everyone out sources at times.

Surplus is still very prevalent (and hopefully will be for some time). You could get 2240 rounds cheaper than 1000 rounds with the only difference being one needs a quick flush after use.

As stated before in this thread, non reloadable, non corrosive ammo has it place. I could invision myself keeping one or two hundred rounds of the stuff on hand.

However, it may be a hard sell for an entire case. Especially since you cannot hunt with or reload this stuff you are thinking about bringing in.

In the future, if you can find a source for case lots of brass cased, boxer primed ammo, I am sure it would sell quick. 7.62x39mm brass isn't easy to find.
