Whoa, wait... what? This is the first time I've heard of this happening. It has a lifetime warranty on it. Write me and I'll send you two free posts.

I will also send you an updated set screw. Though nobody contacted me about losing posts like this, I have added an additional locking feature.

Please PM me here or email me at http://smith-sights.com . I really need to fix this. My sights don't break. If they do, it's a personal thing that I have to make right. Please, write me.

Hi Josh and thank you for your offer. I did actually send you an email after it happened last year but I did not receive a reply from you. I actually ended up throwing the whole thing out and ordered the whole front globe assembly from eBay. I am not making this up, I bought my M38 from one of the members here and he installed this sight before shipping the rifle to me.

I can't say what happened to the email. I make it a priority to respond to any that might give me an opportunity to improve -- which yours definitely would have!

I do know that I had trouble with my email address making its way into some folks' spam folders some time last year. Seems I made the mistake of putting it up on the net and that flagged some email providers. I took it down and the about a month later things returned to normal.

I am very sorry you had problems with my sight. I just wish you still had it!
