MFS FMJ 7,62x 39

I ran across some FMJ 7.62 x 39 manufactured by MFS. Can anybody tell me whether this is corrosive or not? It appears to be of fairly recent manufacture

I think that you should try the search function - it is a great invention. By the way MFS is non-corrosive and overpriced to boot.

By "didn't cost too much more" do you mean "double the price"?

What was the price on the box?

There is also still a lot of MFS surplus repack around. It was both corrosive and some not. Sold in white boxes

P&D has it in several calibers and they can keep it. Seems quite expensive to me. 7.62x54 was something like 350 per 500 round box and the brass is not re loadable. Its not surplus, but its not cheap either. Better to spend an extra 15 or 20 cents on a round and have reusable brass.

Down here in the states the MFS FMJ 7,62x 39 is non corrosive and boxer primed great brass to reload also. On sale I can get it for $6 a box accuracy is excellent out of a couple Russian and Chinese SKS rifles.

Check out the banner dealers on the header. So many people seem to ignore them. Many of them will ship the ammo to your door for free if you buy a case. Doesn't get any better than that.

Ammo to the door free? Nothing is for free. If someone says free shipping, compare their prices to everyone else. I just bough a case of 7.62x39 in Yorkton for $176.00. That is about as good as it gets.
