I got mine yesterday from Lockhart Tactical and it was a giant PITA to install on my DPMS upper. I practically destroyed my Wheeler delta ring tool getting it on. I saw one install video on Youtube and it looked so easy but my delta ring seems to be a lot tighter. I'm now afraid to take it off as I might not be able to get it back on there ever again.
On the bright side it is much more comfortable than the standard carbine handguard. It is a slimmer fit and also looks a lot nicer. Fit and finish is comparable to other MFT products (i.e. good).
There's just got to be an easier way to install this thing. Hopefully someone else here can provide some insight.
