MG34 single barrle carrier, what colour?

I want to repaint my 1943 single barrel carrier from the Yugo pale green to what it should be as issued during 43. The carrier is marked beq and WaaA77 and has no evidence of wartime/previous paint or primer. All advice on this is welcome.
 
Thanks all, I shot a couple coats of Dunkle Gelb over the Yugo post war pale green and it looks way, way, better. A second question I have is concerning the MG34 50 round baskets and the carriers for them, again all are currently in the pale green and of the four baskets I have three must be Yugo in manufacture and one war dated 1943. The 43 dated baket has a couple minor differances from the other three so my question is should I paint these tan/dark earth (dunkle gelb) also?
