The TNW MG 34 is a bit of an exception. It has a modified bolt. New Built receiver. And modified trigger group.
The most important is the receiver. It is a NEW GUN, not a CA. It just happens that non-prohibited MG34 parts fit onto it.
This is where the problem arose with the TNW 1919's. It was discovered that only one side plate was replaced - hence technically not a new receiver. As a result, the CDN and US government made an agreement to stop the import and export of all TNW 1919's into the country. If they can't ban it. Limit the ownership. This is why IRun Guns cannot bring the 1919's in anymore….
