Very cool. I hope Robinson Arms steps up and re-designs the barrel retention mechnism for their XCRs. It sure looks like everyone else is.

Saskatoon Gun Works Brought a few MGI Hydra in a couple years ago, not sure if they still are.

Very cool, biggest complaint I could see is limited the fore grip options with the barrel retention system being part of the quad rail if one wanted to change it.

At first glance I though "ho hum, another multi cal AR" but the changeable magwell - which looks like it actually works, shows some real promise - nicely thought out. It would be nice to run 9 or 40 cal pistol mags in a shorty, and switch to a 556 system without all the paperwork.

Well then, I'm not impressed by the barrel system. I'd rather just swap out my whole upper, and have my optic and zero change with my barrel . . .

That lower on the other hand, that's slick.
