some of you might remember the black micro socom i made last year. well my friend made another one by mating a M14 stock to the 10/22 wood stock. it looks better the original one we did. then we texture coated it and ceramic painted in coyote tan. and here is the end result. my friend is gonna order up the gas block and front bits to fit an M14 flash hider to the barrel to make it more authentic.

I like the cut you made on the wood behind the receiver. It makes the profile very M14 for sure. I'm working on my 10/22 now too and awaiting my UTG quad rail. I might do the same cut on my rifle.
