Do you think this a gaping hole in the world of shooting?

Wouldn't a scaled-down version of Winchester's CRF model 70 action in .223 be ###y as heck?

Wouldn't it be fairly easy to scale it down and produce it?

As well as the aforementioned CZ offering there is the Charles Daly/Remington 799 action and.....If your not hung up real hard on CRF, Sako did it 60 years ago with the L46 which became the L461 which became the AI......

If memory serves, you used to be able to buy mini mauser actions by them selves. Not sure who used to produce or sell them though.

The mini-mauser actions you refer to are produced by Zastava Arms
in Serbia. These are called the M85 barreled actions and are available
in .223, .222, .22 Hornet & 7.62X39 plus a couple other chamberings.
Check with a Zastava distributor or dealer for availability & pricing.

I guess my point is that I want BACO to make a real, scaled down Model 70 CRF in .223.

I want world peace and people to quit being such margin sucking predatory ass hats, I don't think either one of us is getting what we want anytime soon. :D

But yes a "real" Model 70 scaled down to a 223 size action in a featherwight stock would be cool.
