I just came across a bookmark I'd made last year for this product. Basically a Fresnel-type lens that is fitted to an aperture sight which claims to bring both the front sight and the target into focus. If you Google "accurateshooter.com, bulletin, Microsight" or just "Microsight" it should bring up a number of links.
Looks like an interesting idea. Originally designed by a competition shooter. Seems to be available only (?) for the AR-15 platform so far. There was a thread on castboolits as well, though, where I think someone had a Williams aperture sight modified to accept the insert.
