I just came into midland (parker Hale) model 2600 but the bolt won't stay in the reciever I think its missing the bolt catch assembly on the left side of the reciever, however I'm not since I can't find any on schmatics or other rifles as a reference point, can someone point me in the right direction, thanks.

The bolt stop/ejector assembly is a small box secured to the left rear of the receiver by a single screw. If the unit is there, the bolt stop could be missing or broken, or the bolt stop spring could be gone. I might have some parts, I know I do not have a complete unit.

WGP had them years ago, not sure if they still have some in stock. As this rifle is a bastardized Mauser/Springfield, you may be able to modify parts from either or both if you get stuck.
I have used 98 ejectors in the Midland, soldering the cut ejector in place.
